Beachcomber fire in Cecil County, MD

A fire Monday night caused damage estimated at  $250,000 to a vacant restaurant building in Charlestown, MD.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's office reported the fire broke out at about 6 p.m. at the Beachcomber, a two-story bar/restaurant after the owner and another person attempted to turn on the electricity and detected smoke.
