Sprinkler limits damage from fire at Glasgow restaurant

The Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder Company of Newark responded to the fire, which occurred while the restaurant was still in operation.

Aetna personnel  found a small fire that was extinguished by the  sprinkler system and firefighters. 

 State Fire Marshal deputies were called to the scene and determined the fire occurred in a  bathroom trash can. 

No one was injured in the fire and damage is estimated at about  $1,000. The sprinkler system saved the building from further damage, the Fire Marshal's office reported.

McGlynn's was back in operation on Monday.
