A unit of Dover-based Chesapeake Utilities Corporation will build and operate a pipeline that will power an Ohio data center.

Chesapeake's Ohio subsidiary, Aspire Energy Express, LLC, struck an agreement with American Electric Power (AEP) to construct and operate a natural gas pipeline in central Ohio to serve a new fuel-cell facility, which will provide on-site electric power.
