Incyte names Senior Vice President
Incyte announced that Soni Basi has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
Basi will be responsible for shaping the company’s global human resources strategy including talent acquisition, organizational design and professional development.
Before joining Incyte, Basi headed HR at Edelman where she oversaw a team of 200+ HR professionals. Previously, Ms. Basi held leadership roles in global talent at AIG, Allergan Pharmaceuticals, The Estée Lauder Companies and Schering-Plough..
Basi succeeds Paula Swain, Incyte’s former Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources, following her retirement.
Beebe Medical names CFO
Beebe Healthcare, Lewes, annunced that Cary Marble was named Beebe Medical Group Chief Financial Officer.
Marble fills a position that was vacant for nearly a year as Beebe conducted a nationwide search.
Marble’s focus will be on making Beebe and Beebe Medical Group work better together to reach our goal of being a more integrated health system.
She brings more than 30 years of proven experience as a healthcare and business executive.

AB&C names managing director of Media Services
Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C), Wilmington, announced the addition of Chris Ebmeyer to the agency’s media team. Ebmeyer, new managing director of media services for AB&C, brings with him more than 20 years of experience directing and supervising media strategies and services.
Ebmeyer will oversee media planning and buying strategies and lead the AB&C media department in staying on top of the latest media trends and opportunities, understanding specific client audiences, and ensuring plans are both aligned with and deliver on client goals.
As managing director of media services at AB&C, Ebmeyer oversees a team that supports the media footprints for clients across healthcare, behavior change, recruitment marketing, consumer and specialty B2B market segments. In this role, he will direct media planning and buying, marketing communications, digital strategy, and social media to help create powerful connections between brands and consumers through paid, owned and earned media channels.
Emory Hill names residential property manager
NAI Emory Hill, New Castle named Massiel Derefaka as a Residential Property Manager.
Massiel has more than a decade of experience in business management and administration. She oversees a diverse portfolio of residential properties in New Castle County.
Massiel's areas of expertise include landlord-tenant code enforcement, affordable housing regulations, and vendor negotiations.
Her background includes leadership roles in warehouse supervision and restaurant operations in both the U.S. and Costa Rica. NAI Emory Hill's property management division manages a portfolio of more than 5.3 million square feet, spanning nearly 100 properties and over 570 commercial tenants in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland.

Allen joined the firm as a scanner for many years while in high school and participated in our 2023 Summer Internship program, He returned as a full-time Rotational Development team member in June 2024, and is now a member of the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice Group.
Grubb joined the firm as a 2023 Summer Intern and returned as a full-time Rotational Development team member in January 2024, and is now a dedicated remote member of the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice Group.
LaPlante joined the firm as a 2024 Tax Season Intern and transitioned in July 2024 to a full-time team member in the Rotational Development Program, and recently joined the Tax & Small Business Practice Group.
Klinger named Wilmington communications director
Wilmington Mayor John Carney yesterday announced the appointment of Caroline Klinger as the City’s new Director of Communications.
Klinger succeeds Matt Ford, who stepped back from the position after leading the city’s communications. He will devote time to personal responsibilities and to pursue a new venture.
Klinger joins the City after serving as Deputy Director of Communications for the Delaware State Senate Majority Caucus, where she directed messaging strategies for legislators and coordinated closely with statewide communications offices. Prior to that, she served in the Office of Gov. John Carney, where she advanced from Communications Assistant to Digital Communications Manager. In those roles, she supported major public events, digital communications strategy, and coordinated messaging across state agencies.
Abbott joins Delaware Prosperity Partnership
Jill Abbott, a longtime Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library staff member, has joined Delaware Prosperity Partnership as its new engagement manager.
During her 27 years at Winterthur, she ran Point-to-Point and other large-scale events.
At DPP, she works closely with President/CEO Kurt Foreman and is a point person for key relationships and constituencies – including DPP's Board, investors and partners.
PBF names CFO
PBF Energy Inc. announced the promotion of Joseph Marino to Chief Financial, effective, Oct. 1. PBF owns Delaware City Refining Co.
On that date, current CFO, Karen B. Davis, will retire as an executive of the company and rejoin the Board of Directors, where she previously served from January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2022.
Marino, who currently serves as Treasurer , has been with PBF since 2011, holding finance and accounting roles.
