ChristianaCare opened a new imaging site and add a cardiologist to its primary care practice in West Grove, PA.
These services are part of ChristianaCare’s expansion in southern Chester County, which includes the development of a neighborhood hospital on its West Grove campus.
“We are thrilled to expand our services and bring advanced imaging and cardiology care to our neighbors in West Grove,” said Pauline Corso, regional executive director, Southeast Pennsylvania Administration. “Our goal is to ensure that our patients have access to the best possible care without having to travel far from home.”
The new imaging site offers walk-in X-ray and scheduled mammography and ultrasound appointments. The site will be open Monday through Friday.

Joining the ChristianaCare team in West Grove is Ronald Lewis Jr., a cardiologist with nearly 40 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine.
Ronald Lewis Jr., D.O., is a highly respected specialist with nearly 40 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine.
“I’m incredibly excited to be a part of this community’s journey toward better heart health,” said Lewis. “It’s an honor to bring my expertise and passion for cardiology to the people of West Grove, where I can help empower them to take control of their heart health and live longer, healthier lives right here at home.” He will have office visits on Tuesdays.
Construction continues on the neighborhood hospital on ChristianaCare’s West Grove campus, a 20,000 square foot, 10-inpatient bed hospital and emergency department, which is expected to open mid-2025.
ChristianaCare purchased the former Jennersville Hospital and worked with the community to determine needed services, with emergency medicine rising to the top of the list.
Delaware's largest hospital system also opted for a neighborhood hospital with fewer bids than Jennersville Hospital. ChristianaCare and a joint venture partner also plan to add two neighborhood hospitals in neighboring Delaware County.
