Sutton named executive director at Girls Inc.
Wenona Sutton has been named Executive Director of Girls Inc. of Delaware.
Sutton has more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, marketing, and community engagement,
She formerly worked at WRK Group, Wilmington as marketing and communications director.
Girls Inc. is the nation’s oldest girls leadership organization and dates back to the Civil War and the trauma faced by women and girls.
Collier named probation director
Deputy Bureau Chief of Community Corrections Heidi Collier has been named statewide Director of Delaware Probation and Parole.
Collier, who has more than two decades of corrections and law enforcement experience, completed her Correctional Officer training in 2003.
In 2008 she completed the Basic Officer Training Course and was assigned as a Probation Officer to the Domestic Violence Unit in the Hares Corner regional probation office.
She advanced to leadership positions in the probation office and in 2021 was named Deputy Chief of the Bureau of Community Corrections, which is responsible for probation and parole and other services for more than 10,000 individuals statewide who are housed in Work Release and Violation of Probation facilities and the statewide Community Corrections Treatment Center, or are serving probationary sentences in the community.
Collier has been serving as acting statewide Director of Probation and Parole following the recent departure of Director Melissa Kearney who retired after 30 years of service.
Iudica joins Diamond State Financial Group
Diamond State Financial Group, Newark, recently expanded its team with the addition of Joseph Iudica as Senior Associate and Financial Advisor.
Iudica has nearly 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He was vice president, senior financial advisor at Wilmington Advisors @ M&T.
Iudica will provide financial advisory services while also offering specialization in retirement strategies.
Eric Ruth joins Spotlight Delaware
Eric Ruth joined Spotlight Delaware as the organization’s content marketing manager.

A graduate of the University of Delaware’s journalism program, Ruth spent years at The News Journal as a copy editor, business reporter and restaurant critic before moving into content marketing roles at the Delaware Tourism Office and University of Delaware’s alumni magazine.
Ruth will be the primary writer and editor behind Spotlight’s content marketing program, while assisting the marketing team on other earned revenue campaigns.
Passwaters, Oreagba join TidalHealth in Seaford
Jennifer Passwaters joined TidalHealth Cardiology in Seaford..
Passwaters received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University in Delaware. She is a family nurse practitioner, certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Faderera Oreagba has joined TidalHealth Orthopedics in Seaford.
Oreagba received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Temple University in Philadelphia; a post-baccalaureate degree in general health studies from Bowie State University in Bowie, Md.; and her master’s degree at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, earning her physician assistant certificate.
