Ocean View Police Department officers arrested Jeremy Bowen, 45, of Ocean View on charges of Home Improvement Fraud. Bowen was taken into custody on July 2.
According to Police, Bowen contracted with a local homeowner to install a fence. The homeowner paid Bowen $3,550 upfront for the project. However, Bowen never showed up to perform the work.
Ocean View officers arrested Bowen and charged him with one count of Home Improvement Fraud over $1,500. Bowen was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond and is scheduled for an arraignment in the Court of Common Pleas on July 11.
This arrest marks Bowen's 10th for Home Improvement Fraud in the past seven years. He was also arrested on June 28, 2024, by the Lewes Police Department. Bowen operates under the business names Delmarva Landscape Solutions and Shoreline Escapes.
Police are asking those who may have been a victim to call their respective departments.
