Hank's Place in Chadds Ford, PA will hold a grand reopening on Tuesday after a long absence.
The restaurant was damaged beyond repair in 2021 after the remnants of Hurricane Idea resulted in flooding. The owners later opened a Hank's Place in Kennett Square.
A soft opening took place on Monday in Chadds Ford.
The restaurant, which has been around since 1950 was rebuilt and will start off offering breakfast and lunch. Within the next 30 days dinner service will return, according to a release. Breakfast and lunch will be served seven days a week with the dinner scheduled from Tuesday through Saturday.
The new Hank's Place will offer indoor and outdoor dining and counter service will be available. The outdoor dining area has views of Brandywine Creek.
Reservations are only available for parties of 10 or more.
Hank's Place has long been associated with the art community in the Brandywine Valley, with artist Andrew Wyeth a frequent diner.
