Food and Drink: Crabby Dick's, Randazzo's, Iron Hill's Burger Month, unusual brunch spots

 On May 30, the establishment will reopen as Dolly Spankers.  The name comes from a ferry that once operated between Delaware City and Fort Dupont.

 The name change came about after owners sold their Rehoboth Beach-area restaurant and the Crabby Dick's name.

 Randazzo's opens in Middltown

Now open in Middletown is Randazzo's Trattoria.

The family-owned restaurant is in a new retail apartment complex on Patriot Drive.

Offerings include pasta, pizza, and cheesesteaks.

The Randazzo family has owned and operated restaurants in the region, including South Jersey and Pike Creek.

 30 days of burgers

I did not get around to writing about Iron Hill's Burger Month.

The 19-unit restaurant brewery chain rolls out 31 burgers in the May promotion that offers a burger with fries and pickles for $15, a bargain when a $20 burger is often on menus.

While I did not get around to listing the burgers at the first of the month, here are the offerings that remain.

DoorDash lists two brunch spots.

The DoorDash delivery service listed 100 top brunch spots around the county as Mother's Day approaches.

Making the list were a couple of unusual choices:

• Helen's Sausage House in Newark. The other location is in the Townsend area in southern New Castle County.
• Marsh Road Diner - north Wilmington, now Wilmington Diner.

The list was based on customer ratings and order trends on DoorDash and was heavily populated with bagels, doughnuts,and other quick service spots.
