More than two-dozen Delaware companies made the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of the nation's largest privately held companies.
The 27 First State companies on list are ranked based to their percentage revenue growth over 2021 to 2024.
Companies must be privately held, for-profit, based in the U.S., and not subsidiaries of other companies.
Some companies are listed as Delaware-based may not have in-state operations but are instead listed through a Delaware incorporation address.
The minimum revenue requirement for applicants is $100,000 for 2021 and $2 million for 2024. All applicants must pass Inc.’s editorial review.
The Philadelphia Business Journal (paywall) reported that 133 area companies made the INC 5000 list, with Dover-based ParkMyFleet at the top of the regional list.
ParkMyFleet provides fleet storage, EV charging and maintenance services at locations around the nation. While ParkMyFleet lists a Dover headquarters address, the Crunchbase corporate finance site lists its headquarters as New York City.
Coming in at 4,997 was JLAM, a Rehoboth Beach commercial real estate investment firm formerly known as Jack Lingo Asset Management.
