It was a near-record weekend for vists on the Delaware Business Now website. I did not set out to work on the weekend, but news of the pending storm and readers seeking out stories kept us busy with updates and new content.
Traffic exploded on Sunday, with the new Blox website easily handling the surge.
Still, there wasn't much of an opportunity to tackle a backlog of Delaware stories. Many are good news pieces that deserve to see the light of day.
To the disappointment of some and the relief of others, snowfall totals did not hit final estimates.

It was also a good weekend for Commanders fans (there are.more than a few in Sussex) and yet another disappointment for the Ravens faithful. As one analyst put it in Superman terms, playoffs are “their kryptonite.”
As noted above, it's Martin Luther King Day and Inauguration Day as Delaware's Joe Biden leaves office with the economy perking along, despite $4 a dozen eggs.
It will be an interesting time for business, with many pundits forecasting a good year in 2025.
